Head of the Inclusive Leadership Course
We are looking for an exceptional senior leader to join The Difference as our new Head of the Inclusive Leadership Course.
This is a rare opportunity to shape one of the country’s leading professional development programmes for school leaders focused on whole-school inclusion and reducing lost learning. Since 2019, more than 1,000 school leaders have completed the course, with 64% of participating schools going on to reduce suspensions against national trends.
You will lead the design, delivery and impact of the Inclusive Leadership Course, working closely with school leaders, MATs, local authorities and national stakeholders to strengthen inclusive practice across England’s schools. The role combines programme leadership, facilitation, partnership-building and policy influence at a pivotal moment for inclusion nationally.
We are looking for someone with senior leadership experience in schools, strong credibility in inclusive practice, and a track record of designing and delivering professional development that improves outcomes for children and young people.
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 depending on experience
Location: Hybrid, with 50% office presence in Bethnal Green and national travel
Contract: Permanent
Start date: September 2026 or sooner
