Asset Based Community Engagement

CoOp Academies Trust used asset-based community engagement to improve inclusion and reduce exclusions for Roma students. A three-month listening campaign with families and partners including The Difference and Mission44 informed culturally responsive curricula, staff training, and extra-curricular programs. Early results show suspensions down, attendance up, and stronger student belonging – demonstrating how targeted inclusion strategies tackle lost learning and educational inequality.
