Inclusive Leadership Course: Introducing Relational Practice
At Dixons Brooklands Academy, Assistant Principal Stephanie Morris applied learning from The Difference Inclusive Leadership Course (ILC) to drive inclusive practice across behaviour, attitudes, and parental engagement. Using structured ILC take-away tasks, she supported staff to identify and overcome bias, reframe conversations with parents, and implement evidence-based system changes. The course also informed purposeful student voice activities, ensuring insights directly shaped improvement plans, professional development, and school-wide inclusion strategies – demonstrating how ILC equips leaders to embed sustainable inclusive practice in turnaround schools.
